Treadle came to us with a token economy on paper and a deadline: a ride-to-earn cycling app on NEAR Protocol, plus a public site to launch it. Riders equip an NFT bike, log trips, and earn $SCRW for the kilometres they cover. Wallet onboarding had to be simple enough for people who had never touched crypto — and everything live in four weeks.
We split the four weeks into two tracks. The app track started with the ride loop — equip, ride, earn, recover energy — and wired it to NEAR: wallet auth, NFT minting and live trip telemetry showing speed, mileage and tokens earned. The site track ran a one-week design sprint, then a build focused on clarity: what the app does, how the token works, where to download. Both shipped the same Friday.
